The identification on this is not 100%, but Jon Pelham, taking into consideration the place and date, etc., and looking at the photo, says his best guess is Callophrys affinis. And that’s as good an id as this will every get, without having been netted.
This was on the same day as above and nearby. Because it has a wavy white line and for the same reasons Pelham surmised above, I think this is also a Western Hairstreak, but they could be Sheridan’s. If so it would be towards the very end of the date range.
